Hey all, I'm taking off a bit early this week because it's my little sister's turn to get hitched! We're headed into the hinterlands for a massive party on a farm.

Wedding Wednesday {Destination}

As the joyous shock of my engagement has settled in, I've collected myself enough to turn to the actual wedding planning and the expanse of decisions that lay before us - it is a little daunting to say the least. I am thrilled to say that we have successfully made our crucial first decision  - where to have our wedding!

In honor of this first major decision, here is an inspiration board that captures the spirit of our location and the ambiance we hope to create for our guests.

Can you guess where we're headed? I couldn't be more excited! Are you ready for it?? 

We are going to get married in....Mexico! In a tiny fishing village on the Sea of Cortez in Baja, to be exact. 

No decisions about colors or flowers or dresses or the like have even begun to happen yet, but now we know where we're headed and it feels good.

I've been engaged for a week now and I'm just starting to wrap my head around the whirlwind of ideas, inspirations, options and choices out there.

Feeling the Love

Thanks so much to everyone for raining such love and joy down on me and my fiance (still weird to write that!) Seriously, I'm overwhelmed and truly touched. Another one of those moments where blogging leaves me in awe.

Another One Bites the Dust

So sorry for the delay in posting my dears. Things have been a little nutty in the world of apartment 34. 

I guess what goes around comes around because a very special moment has come my way.

My amazing, thoughtful and wonderful man got down on one knee and proposed. We're ENGAGED people!

And now I'm officially hopping on the wedding planning ride so ladies, start ponying up the recommendations, insider tips and killer vendors.
