A Year of Relaxation

I've been accused, once or twice in my life, of not knowing how to slow down so I'm adding relaxation to my to-do list for 2009. Relaxation can take on many forms of course. For me, relaxation includes...

Serious quality time in the kitchen, ideally the perfect kitchen like this one, baking,

Serious enjoyment of those baked goods,

Long, leisurely road trips

And more time outdoors.

Really, more than anything, this year I want to avoid feeling like this

And instead spend more time like this!

More time doing what the dog is doing sounds perfect.

Yes yes yes to all of these! Relaxation is such a tough one---it so easily falls by the wayside but it's so necessary! That pup has the right idea though...

And funnily enough, for a dog he has EXCELLENT taste in furniture!

Don't worry Erin---I've been accused myself of not knowing how to slow down. But how else would anything get done around here? ;)
