Let it Snow

You may have heard that the West Coast is experiencing an unseasonably warm winter. We're talking sunshine and nearly 60 degrees here people. I mean cherry blossoms are blooming.

That's why it's going to be a shock to the system when I touch down in the midwest and experience 23 degree snowy weather today.

I'm actually looking forward to some honest to goodness winter. Just as long as it's only for the 48 hours I have scheduled.

Monday Work Wear {Menswear}

On a Monday that's come all too soon all I find myself wanting to wear is a rough and tumble mensware look. It pairs well with my don't-talk-to-me-until-my-third-cup-of-coffee mood.

Happy {Three Ring Circus} Weekend

This week has been one of the biggest circuses I can remember in a long time. 

I'm doing my best to balance everything but I don't really get a moment to catch my breath as I head to Portland for my first bridal shower this weekend!

An Afternoon in Paris

Despite the fact that it's only Thursday, I've already got my sights set on the weekend. I think we're all in need of a little escape, don't you? How about a lovely afternoon on the streets of Paris to tide you over?

Wedding Wednesday {Something Blue}

Because of the getting married in Mexico thing, I'm lucky enough to get to wear a variety of dresses since the process of getting married is really extended over three distinct events.

I still haven't found my something blue for any of it. I wonder if it shouldn't be one of my dress options?

Design Inspiration: Dark Accents

I realize everyone is craving spring right now, but I have to admit fall is my favorite fashion season. I love the opportunity to play with layers, textures and rich dark fabrics. They're just so cozy. They also pair nicely with my current design obsession - dark accent walls.

While I tend to leave the rooms and fashion to others, the Pringle of Scotland Pre-Fall Collection was just too good to pass up.
